Hi! I'm Maya, the creative force behind Venice Cryptid. My journey into the world of masks began during my college years at Virginia Commonwealth University, where I found my passion for crafting unique bobbles and trinkets. However, it wasn't until after graduation, when I moved to Los Angeles, that this passion truly blossomed.

Inspired by the eclectic characters of Venice Beach, I found myself drawn to the art of mask-making. These enigmatic creations became a tangible expression of the spirit of Venice Beach, a place where individuality thrives, and identities are boldly embraced. The masks I create are not just accessories; they are invitations to embrace the mystique within and celebrate the boundless diversity that makes each of us extraordinary.
